Education History:
B.S., Neuroscience,minors in Chemistry and Psychology, Emmanuel College
Iris graduated from Emmanuel College in 2025 with a B.S. in Neuroscience with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. As an undergraduate, Iris worked at the Center for Translational Cognitive Neuroscience (CTCN) at the VA Boston Healthcare System. At the CTCN, she worked on multiple projects involving memory disorders and was introduced to noninvasive brain stimulation. She also successfully wrote and defended her senior thesis titled “Use of Dry EEG Systems for Early Detection of Cognitive Impairment”. At the Berenson-Allen Center, she will be assisting Dr. Chiang in his research on using HD-tDCS to treat word finding ability in individuals with chronic traumatic brain injuries.
Personal Interests / Hobbies:
In her free time, Iris enjoys spending time with her chocolate lab Hudson, singing, cooking and baking, doing puzzles, and traveling.
Personal Goals:
Iris looks forward to furthering her knowledge about the fields of neurology and psychiatry in her time at the Berenson-Allen Center before eventually pursuing medical school and a career as a physician.
