Education History:
B.S., Neuroscience and Behavior (anticipated May 2024), Simmons University.

Danyca is a senior undergraduate student at Simmons University majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior with minors in Biostatistics and Media Arts. Previously, Danyca assisted in a gastroenterology lab researching the aging and maintenance of the enteric nervous system. Currently, she is joining as a clinical research student as part of her fieldwork placement at Simmons and will be working with Team Shafi on the study the effect of medicine on cognition in Alzheimer’s patients in tandem with TMS therapies.

Personal Interests/Hobbies:
Outside of the center, you can find Danyca reading, traveling, watching the latest formula1 race, or exploring Boston’s many cafes.

Personal Goals:
Danyca is very excited to work with the center and hopes to take the knowledge and experiences she will gain to further her path in pursuing a doctorate degree in clinical psychology.
