Education History:
B.S., Health Sciences (anticipated May 2024), Northeastern University.

Keya is currently a student at Northeastern University majoring in Health Sciences with plans to graduate in spring 2024. During Keya’s time at Northeastern, she has worked as a research assistant at Northeastern’s “Health In Justice Lab” where she worked on studying the impact of fentanyl misinformation in Massachusetts communities. Keya also worked as a medical assistant in an Internal Medicine clinic. Keya is also part of the executive board of her on campus club- focusing on educating Northeastern students on the intersections of healthcare and different fields of study. Currently she works with Dr. Peter Fried using neuroimaging and non-invasive brain stimulation to investigate cortical plasticity in older adults with Type II Diabetes.

Personal Interests/Hobbies:
In her spare time, Keya enjoys hiking, listening to music, photography, and trying different cuisines.

Personal Goals:
Keya plans on using what she has learned at the Berenson-Allen Center to pursue a medical degree.
