Dissecting the parieto-frontal correlates of fluid intelligence: A comprehensive ALE meta-analysis study
Activation Likelihood Estimate (ALE) maps of Fluid Intelligence (Gf) in humans as published in Santarnecchi et al. 2017 are available for download at the link below
Maps are in nifti .nii format. The compressed folder includes maps obtained applying a cluster-based correction (p < 0.05, 1000 permutations). Details on the analysis are available in the original publication. Each folder includes two maps in MNI space
- An ALE map of significant foci (e.g. Gf_net.nii)
- A map of significant clusters (e.g. Gf_net_clust.nii)
Six different maps are available, reporting significant foci for:
- The overall gf network (Gf_net)
- Experiments involving verbal (Gf_Verbal)
- Experiments involving visuospatial (Gf_VisuoSpatial) stimuli
- Gigher complexity trials (Gf_complexity)
- Experiments addressing Rule Inference (Gf_RuleInference)
- Rule Application (Gf_RuleApplication) processing stages
Folders also include an Excel spreadsheet reporting coordinates for each cluster identified in the analysis, their volume and anatomical labeling.
